Big Day Today!
I’m not going to share until I can fully disclose all of the details, but it’s pretty big!
Flashback to this weekend, I know I shared one of my most favorite runs with you already, but I want to share some of my favorite pictures too. I’ve been sharing favorite Instagrams of the week and this is kind of similar.
Portland is a great city. I really loved walking around and all of the shops. We ate a DiMillos floating restaurant Friday night, which was beautiful. It’s actually on a boat. The food was great too, I even got a whole lobster.
Saturday we had Adam and Denise’s wedding which was also beautiful. They had a picture perfect day, which always makes it even better.
They had a photo booth too, SO much fun!
So fun hanging out with friends and celebrating love. Love it! (Side Note: dress I wore is from JCREW, a lot of people asked )
By the way, hi Shawn & Tara – so fun hanging out with you!
Hopefully I’ll be back later with some great news!

Hello from Maine!
We left yesterday and took our time getting up here since it’s almost a 6 hour drive for us. We stopped in Portsmouth, NH for lunch, which was another very cute town. We walked around and checked out some shops, and obviously I had to assess their iced coffee before we went on our way.
Portland is awesome. It’s a great town that we are going to check out more after I finish icing my knee. (Yes I still ice my knee almost daily.) I scoped out a trail yesterday that I saw from google maps, so after sleeping in until around 8 we got up and out. I wanted to share some great pictures from this morning’s run. This may be top 5 most beautiful runs I’ve ever done.
The trail is miles long and goes on many times what we did. We did 6 miles, 3 out, 3 back. If you are ever here in Portland, you have to walk, run or bike this. We greatly appreciaed the beauty, peace and quiet of this gorgeous trail. Runs like this make me so grateful for the fact I’m able to run and enjoy the scenery in that way.
Off to shower and check things out before the wedding!
Happy Saturday!
]]>What a Monday!
I have a couple of great announcements…some bigger than others..
1. We’re going to Italy over Easter Break! We booked it a couple of weeks ago, but i haven’t announced it yet on the blog. I don’t know why because it’s certainly blog worthy. We will be traveling the Amalfi Coast for 10 days and we couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait to sight see and eat through our destinations…and blog all about it of course! Pizza, pasta, bread, cheese and gelato here I come! (Itinerary and photos courtesy of our good pals, Lauren and John. Check out Haiku York City!)
2. I finally took the plunge….and bought Mary’s Gone Crackers in bulk! I know not a big plunge…but it’s a big package. I was so tired of paying sometimes, $5.00 a box for these crackers! I bought it off Amazon grocery and it came out to $3.00 a box if I bought 12! I mean I have no where to put all of them…but I saved money AND it was free shipping! Major score!
3. I will be officially taking clients as of February 21st! I am SO excited to start my Health Counseling business! I have been waiting a long time to take this jump. Please email me at [email protected] if you are interesting in learning about my 6 month program! For the first couple of months I will be offering services at heavily discounted rates!
4. Today we are officially halfway through the school year! Woohoo!
What exciting news do you have to share? Big or small, share it here!
]]>Good morning! Happy Easter Weekend to those of you who celebrate. I’m up and no one else is, except the staff again. I just seem to wake up super early here (5:50) and be ready to go. I decided to come out of my room and do some blogging, while having a cup of coffee. I’m listening to the howler monkeys (which sound like a mix between a dog and what I would think a warthog would sound like).
I am going to miss this place, it was such an amazing, wonderful experience. We met 2 other couples that we really enjoyed spending our time with. At Los Altos you eat breakfast and lunch together family style around a gorgeous teak wood table. Conversation just flowed easily and we got to know each other very quickly since we basically spent all our time together (but not too much). We still had our privacy when wanted but it was so nice to share our vacation with other people as well.
The food here is incredible, maybe the best I’ve ever had. Everything is made from scratch and fresh as anything!!
I did yoga 3x this week and doing it one more before we get on our long place ride. I loved it, but how could you not, doing it in this setting?
We did end up going out to dinner two times in Tamarindo. It was great, but I still think the food was better at Los Altos!
I am off to do some yoga and maybe go for a short hilly walk. Then one last breakfast and stint in the sun before it’s off to San Jose, then Panama City then New York!
See you soon!
