I’m back! It’s been awhile, but I’ve been busy! I’ve had good reason to be away from blog writing and reading since my Mom got married! We had a crazy week last week doing last minute wedding projects, gathering everything and packing and now it’s all over.
My Mom and Tony got married at Giorgio’s in Baiting Hollow, NY, where Danny and I also got married. It is absolutely beautiful there and the day was unbelievable. The weather couldn’t have been better, it wasn’t too hot and there was zero humidity. The sun was also shining all day long, it was meant to be.
We went out Friday morning, super early, so we could get to the outlets and get settled before the rehearsal dinner. After shopping we checked into the hotel and sat by the pool until we had to get ready for the rehearsal dinner, which was also at Giorgio’s. It was a small dinner, but it was very intimate.
Saturday we got up at 5:30 am, after basically not sleeping at all, to get our hair and makeup done. Early, but worth it. I am always weary of getting my hair and makeup done by others, but I gave pretty specific instructions to both people and it turned out well. I kept looking and making Jess and Chris take pictures to see my hair to make sure it wasn’t turning into a slicked back mess, I’m deathly afraid of crispy “prom” updos.
Do we not all have the same exact smile?
My Uncle Tommy is ridiculously creative, so with him doing everything his help we were able to make the escort cards, table settings, welcome bags, favors, etc.

This cake was DELICIOUS! I helped my self to this entire plate (well not literally this one, because this was my mom’s) but I ate the cake and the ice cream and chocolate shell. I did not hold back this weekend, the food at Giorgio’s is amazing, so it was a treat weekend.

I’m basically obsessed with weddings, even if I don’t know you I’ll look at your wedding pictures, so if you are 1/2 like me then I figured you’d like to see pictures. I wish I took pictures of the favors, which were wine bottles but I was having too much fun to leave the room. Wedding’s just fly by, luckily we did have an after party back at the hotel pool, so we got to spend more time together, but you really need an entire day for a wedding. I’m truly appreciative for my family and the time we get to spend together.
Hope you enjoyed!!
On another note, I won the revivemyblog blog revival contest! So get ready for a new look here! Thank you for all of those who tweeted to help me win!
