Good morning! How is everyone’s morning going? It’s COLD out there! So cold I needed to start my day with a cup of coffee at home before I leave for work to warm me up…
Has anyone checked out the new(ish) corefusion class at yogavibes.com? I wanted to try it out so I bought the class ($10 for 14 days access) and I did it yesterday after work. Besides the fact it took me literally 30 minutes to get to play (my internet’s problem) the class was awesome. It was just like being there. You only need a light set of weights and something you can put your leg up on as a bar. I just used my tv stand. It was a great workout and had my muscles SCREAMING. Plus Dori was in the class while they were taping, so that was extra cool!
I love at home workouts.
Mid workout, I paused it and threw some food in the oven. I threw in some tofu, sweet potato and butternut squash fries and chickpeas. I usually just make hummus with my chickpeas, but I have seen some other people roast them (like Averie and Brittney) so I decided to try it.
I envision myself eating these as a snack in the very close future.
Ingredients Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl combine chickpeas, balsamic, honey and spices. Mix together. Spray a cookie sheet with a non stick spray. Spread out chickpeas on small cookie sheet or pan. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until done. Serve over zucchini “pasta” or just snack on them by itself.
What’s your favorite new recipe you’ve seen or tried lately?
Another Boring Injury Update: I ended up not running last Friday. I got on the treadmill for approximately 50 seconds and realized my ankle was not up for it yet. I’m going to try today. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Oh and by the way, thank you for making me feel less crazy for losing things lately. I love you guys. Have an amazing day! I’m off to work and to see Tangled with my class!
