Morning!
Guess what I got yesterday?!
Yep! It’s true..I’m in the 21st century. I’ve had it for all of a couple of hours and I’m totally in LOVE. I LOVE the features of the iphone and the fact I don’t have an hour glass pop up every 30 seconds.
On to exercise!
I haven’t run outside in a long time….as in since November I think. I’m too nervous to hit the pavement with the cold, ice and my ankle. So it’s been the dreadmill for me, which I actually don’t dread. I’m still doing a walking/running thing, which has to change soon, for my spring races. But for now it’s working. I put on Ellen or Oprah and just go with it.
So what do I do on the treadmill for an hour? Well, I thought I’d share that with you! This is just based on what I’ve been doing. It ends up being a little over 4.5 miles. I think it’s a good mix of walking and running.
I also downloaded some new music.
Is it weird I like the non-explicit version of the Cee Lo Green song?
Questions:
What is your favorite thing to do on the treadmill if you run/walk on it?
Any new music recommendations?
What are your favorite apps if you are an iphone user?
Do any of you use StumbleUpon? I just joined (NicoleCulver1). Please feel free to stumble some of my posts! I’d greatly appreciate it!!
Have a fantastic day!

When I run on the treadmill I like to do a mix between hills and speed intervals because I like to get the most “burn for my buck” Congrats on the iPhone! I’m getting one this week, too!!

Oooooh, congrats!!!! My i-phone revolutionized my world (I am so not exaggerating).
Sometimes I actually like the treadmill — you can play with it and do fun intervals (and when I say fun, I mean torturous and hard). But seriously, it’s really hard for me to do intervals when I’m running outside, especially in the city. Those darn cars (buses, children, dogs, stoplights, strollers…) keep getting in the way of my sprints! So I do similar intervals to yours — although I really do need to move my incline around more, as you do.

I rarely use the treadmill but when I do, I love hill intervals.

I love the iPhone (and also the treadmill hehe). I take the bus to work so right now my favorite app is the pocket MBTA :p
My hubby LOVES that song. He had no idea what it really said until he went on itunes to buy it. He totally likes the radio version better!
Haha! I still don’t have an iphone so I’m still stuck in the 20th century. But I have internet access on my laptop all day long while I’m at work so I wouldn’t use the iphone for more than just to make calls and txt anyway, haha!
If I’m walking on the treadmill, I love to flip through magazines or watch TV. If I’m running then I want to turn the music all the way up and run my little heart out.
I don’t think I know any of those songs. Glad you had a great workout and congrats on the new phone!
That looks like a great workout! I usually do some combo of running and walking – 3.5, 4.5, 5.3, 6.3 for a minute each and then go back down and up.
I love stumbleupon, it’s SO addicting. Download qrank on your iphone- it is a daily trivia game. you can add me as a friend! my id name or whatever is jessielu.

I love doing cartwheels on the treadmill. JK! that would be really impressive, but is definitely not something I could do. Great music, though! I’d love that burned on a cd
Ha, our playlist matches!!! well, at least 5 or 6 of the songs. im obsessed with yeah3x while running, especially since the treadmill at my gym plays music videos, and just watching chris brown dance makes me run faster and with more pep in my step!
Yayy girlie congrats!!! I LOVE my iphone!! One of my favorite apps (esp for the treadmill) is the free Gymboss Interval timer. Love love love it. <3
Great job! I have really enjoyed doing speed intervals on the treadmill this winter! It changes things up and keeps it from getting boring.
That is one awesome blog, really like the design! Keep up the nice work!
I have just got an ipod and downloaded a heap of music. I like fmusic with fast beats to pace myself. For example Billy Idol has a number of songs with a fsat tempo. I hear there are treadmills for sale that you can plug your ipod into and the music goes through the treadmill speakers.
Useful article. Contains good tips.
Hey,
I Interesting post, I like the way that you write. I’ve bookmarked your blog and I’ll make sure to visit at least once a week. Also feel free to email me if you have some exclusive information on this subject, I don’t mind paying for great stuff!

This is great! I’m always looking for new running tunes. I particularly like Waka Waka by Shakira, Fly feat. Rihanna by Nicki Minaj, and Bust Your Windows by the Glee Cast. Thanks for sharing!
