(Super Fast) Apple Crisp Time!

by Nicole on September 19, 2011

So it’s happening….

With all the wonders of fall and cooler weather, PUMPKIN and fresh picked apples, comes darkness coming earlier, which ultimately leads to bad picture taking conditions. So just cut me a break with these pictures.

This may be the year that I construct my own light box, since I now have the space. Danny, please read.

The cooler weather has been a bit of a shock, especially in running conditions. I whipped out my under armour pants for a weekend run, but actually it was a bit premature. I didn’t actually need them or the long sleeve I wore, but I’m always happier being warmer than colder.

I’m really not that opposed to a sweatshirt in the morning or my JCREW blazer during the day, it’s the winter coats I’m not looking forward to.

Like I said, something I (and all other bloggers, I’m sure) look forward to is fresh apples. There are SO many things you can do with apples, besides eating them whole.

It’s was like Averie and I were on the save wavelength when the night before my mom went apple picking, she linked to an apple crumble recipe. I love how Averie’s recipes are super fast, which is what I needed when I decided after dinner I wanted something apple and warm.

I decided to use Averie’s recipe but bake it instead. I felt like something warm and melty, I know you know exactly what I mean.

I’m off to get my workout on and meet with some clients later. Have a great day!

This looks easy and awesome = great combo :) I have dates I’ve just been wondering what to do with! As soon as I get my hands on some apples and free evening I am making these cuties.
