Usually we reflect back on the previous year on New Years Eve or Day….or at least for me that’s how it usually goes. This year I can’t help to be extra reflective and thankful on my birthday.
In one year a lot has changed for me and if you’ve been reading, you know that as well. Some days I still wake up expecting to get dressed for school/teaching and then I remember I have a new job.
Last year I made a lot of birthday wishes and I’m so grateful most, if not all, of them came true.
It’s important to dream big and then take steps to get to those dreams. I left teaching because I am so passionate about helping people live a healthier, happier life. I have had so much joy in the past couple of months helping guide people through their journey to health. I also am so thrilled over the launch of Pure Bliss Eats and how welcomed it’s been in my local community.
I also feel so grateful for the people in my life, new and old. Whether they are clients or people I’ve met through Pure Bliss, they’ve all played a significant part in my happiness and gradual (future) success of my business. My family and friends have been unbelievably supportive, more than I could have ever imagined. It’s amazing when people believe in you more than you believe in yourself. Without them I probably would have gone back to teaching already.
So now that I’ve been a total mush for all of you, the fun part.
What am I doing today?
Granite is going to be installed in my kitchen! Which means, normal kitchen will be on its way!! After granite is installed, the sink can be installed, then we have to put in the 2nd oven, hood and tile the backsplash. Woot!
Hopefully get to Koga! It depends on what time the granite guys are coming.
I also have some baking to do and I’m going to make gingerbread granola for a new seasonal flavor.
And last, I’ll be going to dinner and making & eating my own birthday cake!
New recipes will be coming as soon as my granite is installed and I get my kitchen back! Best birthday present ever! 27 is going to be a great year!
Have a wonderful day!
