Happy Weekend!
Since this weekend was a turning point for me, I figured I’d share some photos! I feel like things are starting to come together and we will be back to having a functional kitchen by the end of today and even more so the end of this week!

Who doesn't LOVE edible arrangements? Especially when there's chocolate! Thank you to Jaime for this!
I was debating for the past 2 weeks about running the Rockville Centre 10k. I haven’t run that far in probably 2 months, but I’ve come close. I knew I could do it, but I still didn’t know about the timing with everything going on with the kitchen. Last minute I decided to register and ran out of the house at 9:10, when the registration closed at 9:30. Luckily parking was very easy and I made it. I even got to run the firs 1.6 miles with two friends and then we parted. I kept a good pace and had negative splits every mile, which I was proud of. Overall I ran an average of 9:18 per mile. Again, very happy considering I haven’t raced in months.
I was very laid back about this race, but still just wanted to come in under an hour, which I did. It felt good to be back racing, since the last race I did I ended up injured in March. I’m looking forward to getting back out there with shorter distance races for now.
What are you most proud of this weekend?

Congrats on the run Nicole and the cabinets look great! If it works, I will be most proud of the gluten free cinnamon roll recipe I developed. We shall see what the next hour brings! Have a great Sunday!
dayumm!
Congratulations on your race! I’m getting back into the racing spirit myself, trying to have fun and get faster (those two things can be a tricky thing to balance sometimes). Congrats on your kitchen!!
