Hi!
I’ve been missing in action for the past two days….but I promise it’s with good reason. This week is crazy for me, but all with fun things. Yesterday I had the pleasure of joining many other bloggers at a Fitness Magazine Meet and Tweet event. We listened to different panels on:
The Real Deal on Carbs, Cleanses and Caffeine with FITNESS Deputy Editor Mary Christ Anderson, Keri Gans and Tanya Zuckerbrot
Fitness Facts and Fibs with FITNESS Nutrition Editor Juno DeMelo, Joe Dowdell and Alycea Ungaro
saw a fashion show and got some beauty tips….and then heard the best panel of all…
How To Turn Your Blog Into A Business with Fitfluential Founder Kelly Olexa, and FitFluential Ambassadors Tina Haupert, Carla Birnberg and Julie Fagan
Kelly, Carla, Tina and Julia basically just did a Q&A and answered questions anyone had in the audience. They shared tips on blogging, personal experience, what works for me and how they started getting freelance and sponsorships.
The best part of the day was just meeting bloggers that I’ve “known” for awhile and getting to catch up with ones I’ve already met. Everyone was so nice in person, which is always refreshing. It can be a little nerve racking wondering what people will be like in person!
Another great part…lunch! There was a green salad, farro salad, fruit salad, salmon & herb crusted chicken.
Fitness Magazine did a great job for the event and we were VERY lucky to walk away with a LOT of swag, from Reebok sneakers, Oakleys, food, yoga DVD, birkenstocks, etc. I walked out with what felt like 20 pounds in my arms.
*Wordpress isn’t letting me add any more pictures for some reason, so I’ll have to try again later!*
Today I’m heading to the gym in a bit to hit the treadmill because of the rain (AGAIN….YUCK) and then packing for BOSTON. I’m going to Reebok headquarters to get a nice little tour and try out some workouts…like Crossfit! I’m also having dinner with my PC friends tonight….so psyched!
I’ll be back with more updates soon! Have a great day!
