Morning! So I know my side bar is completely on the right now. I have no clue why. I have my computer/techie guy on it but it seems like my blog is haunted…or overloaded as he said. I prefer haunted. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, but I probably find it more annoying than you anyways.
Today I’m taking a break from regularly scheduled blogging to post about our Pure Bliss Eats kickstarter project. I’m sure you’ve seen me post about it before, but I wanted to take a designated day so you can actually know why we are doing it.
I left teaching almost one year ago to pursue my dreams of starting my own healthy baked goods business. Danny and I planned for over a year to make this happen. When we started to make our business plan, we thought that my health & nutrition counseling and Pure Bliss Eats would go hand in hand, but as the months went by, it became clear that Pure Bliss Eats was meant to be much bigger. I get questions weekly about how I started and the specific steps I took to get licensed, insured, etc. If you have any questions at all about that, feel free to email. Since it doesn’t apply to most, I won’t write about it here for now.
Pure Bliss Eats started in July 2011 and in just 10 months has hugely grown. Now we are at a moving forward point where we are moving to a co-packer so we can take on larger orders because it just got too big for us. We are also in the process of becoming certified gluten free, 100% organic (USDA certified) and certified kosher as well as changing out packaging to eco-friendly. Basically now we are in the phase of raising capital. We heard such good things about kickstarter, we decided to make our own project.
All of our funds will go to changing out packaging, moving to the co-packer and getting certified GF, organic and kosher!
We have a lofty goal of raising $10000. So far we’ve raised just over 30% of our goal and have 9 days left. We’re really hoping we make our goal, because if we don’t, we don’t receive any of the funds.
So I’m hoping you’ll go over and read about our project and decide if you’d like to pledge to support us. There are fun rewards for different pledges, but there is no minimum pledge. We’d also really appreciate it, if you’d show your support simply by sharing it with others!
Our mission is to revolutionize the way people view healthy food by providing delicious clean foods with ingredients you can recognize.
