Fridayyyy! This mid-week holiday really threw me off and I think it threw everyone else off as well. Another weekend to work on the bathroom and get things done around the house. My list includes start baby room. As in…we’ve done nothing so far. The room is painted and honestly I’m not so worried about it. We did buy a glider, so at least we have somewhere to sit right?
As far as fitness goes, my body has been craving walking when I’m not running 3 days a week and I’m happy to listen. I’ve been sticking to doing some sort of weight training 3 days a week, kind of just doing whatever I please. I’m not being strict at all, just happy to be moving in some way. Next week I may get back on a spin bike, which I haven’t been on in weeks, but we shall see. I’m really listening to my body and giving it what it needs.
In the meantime, I love reading blogs about what everyone else is doing. I still love trying new workouts and figuring out what I can do and what I need to modify for my current body. I’m trying to enjoy everyday of this pregnancy as much as I possibly can, but I’m already visualizing working out for 1 instead of 2, even though working out HAS gone very well for me, so far. I kind of miss burpees…can you believe it?
SO what workouts have caught my eye this week?
Tamara of FitKnitChick posted this Upper Body Bootcamp, which I’m going to complete this morning after I finish this blog!
Jess guest posted on She Rocks Fitness an awesome KILLER workout. I CANNOT wait to get back into workouts like this!! (I actually could do this minus the situps – so maybe next week!)
Something else to read: Check out Tina’s post for Top Best Workout DVD’s! I love a good workout DVD and she writes about some that I LOVE.
Want amazing abs? Lori & Michelle posted a 5 minute plank workout!
Angela is also hosting a No Crunch Core Workout Challenge. Another workout to get an amazingly strong (& sexy!) core!
All of these FitFluential Ambassadors are SO knowledgeable about workouts & challenges. I’m so excited to get back into it after baby (but being extremely grateful I’m still strength training, running & moving at 25 weeks along!). As always, this leaves NO excuses to not working out because there are SO many FREE resources out there! Take advantage of it and get moving!!
What’s your favorite workout right now?

Thanks so much for the mention Nicole!! I’m definitely going to check out some of the workouts from the other Fitfluentials too. Great roundup! I hope you have a fantastic (and fit) weekend!
Thanks for the shout out Nicole!
With your level of fitness, you’ll have no trouble getting right back into it after baby! Preparation is key! (I know, I have 3 kids. Didn’t exercise at all with the first pregnancy and the weight took forever to come off. Wisened up with the 2nd and 3rd!)
love all the FFA love!! I’m so so so proud of you for staying active – your runs inspire me!
I can’t believe you miss burpees!!! Of all things
So great that you’re staying active plus listening to your body and taking it easy when you need to. I remember being so happy to be able to move too in whatever shape or form that meant. These workouts look so great! Thanks for sharing them.
My favorite workout right is a regular tempo run. Yesterday (July 5th) I ran six miles at a 7min pace. I love doing a run and trying to stay at the same pace the whole run.
Is it cheating if I say my favorite workout is running? Damnit, that’s all I do. I have been doing some more core exercises. But it’s more of just a combination of different situps for about 10-15 minutes. That counts, right?
I’m so glad I came across your round up here! I think I’m going to have to do the No crunch core workout challenge! I tend to neglect working out my abs. :-/ I always love hearing of women being able to workout and keep it up while pregnant, it inspires me and also curbs my fears for when it’s my turn to be a mom
My favorite workout right now, well actually almost always is running. I can never seem to get enough of it
Have a wonderful weekend!
My workout right now is running. Every morning I spend 15 minutes running.
