Morning! How was all of your weekends? We’re getting closer and closer to finishing the bathroom. (Biggest lesson in DIY home renovations…have patience…lots and lots of patience!) It’s a very exciting time over here.
This weekend I hosted a working breakfast on Saturday and it turned out very successful. I made Purely Twin’s Kale Artichoke Veggie quiche, peanut butter chocolate chips muffins and then put out cut up cantelope and fresh organic berries. I basically ate the quiche for 2 days straight. Yum.
I made the quiche exactly to their directions, except I used 8 eggs and 1/2 cup milk. I didn’t alter any of the other ingredients, but I wanted to make it a nice thick, protein rich quiche, so I upped the eggs. It was DELICIOUS. I can’t recommend it enough.
I love sharing my own recipes with you, but I also LOVE sharing other bloggers recipes that I’ve tried and LOVE. It makes it so much more fun to tell you about other recipes, besides my own that I’m making so you can make them too!
Other weekend things: Danny and I got up around 7 on Sunday and headed straight to the boardwalk for a nice 5 mile run and some breakfast. My running has changed in the past week. I’ll write more about it in another post. I’m still going, but I’m just continuing to do what’s comfortable for me.
I’m trying prenatal yoga today. I’m excited because I haven’t been to yoga in probably 9 months. Kind of ridiculous when I used to practice AT LEAST once, usually 2x a week.
Off to get some work done before yoga!
What was the best part of your weekend?

have fun at yoga! Yoga always felt SO good to me while pregnant.
And I hear you on the patience with home renos. We redid our ENTIRE upstairs when I was pregnant with Makenzie. Talk about a stressful time. We finished 3 days before I went to the hospital. Haha! I hope things get done sooner rather than later for you, though.
Loved our day in Tremblant and having my Dad over for dinner last night!
Enjoy your Yoga class!

Great photos… yes, based on all my experience from watching Home and Garden channel, patience is a necessity.
Hope you enjoyed prenatal yoga today! It was the best thing I did my whole pregnancy and really helped during labor and birth.

Sounds like it was a great, productive Saturday! I can’t wait to try the quiche! I’ve never made quiche before, but know it would be great for a group breakfast/brunch or also to have leftovers to bring to work for the week. Thanks for sharing!
I hope you enjoyed yoga! I’m hoping to get to Emerge Yoga this Saturday. The antigravity classes look like so much fun!!
